Update…

It has been a while since I updated you all on events but believe me it has been a busy few months. We are introducing some changes to the way we manage our meetings over the coming months. We want to keep the format for meetings roughly the same as you have told us that you like the informality of them and value not having the ‘stand up and talk about myself’ for a prescribed time. The relaxed and informal way that these meetings are run allows for a free flow of networking and for you to have those conversations and develop relationships with other businesses before, during and after breakfast. However, we do want to keep the meetings fresh and, more importantly, allow you to develop those critical relationships with other members that allow you to get new business. WarwickWorks now has a task group (made up of 5/6 members) that meets the Tuesday before each meeting to discuss the format and content of meetings, guest speakers, reviewing what works and what doesn’t, what might need reviewing and also what events are planned over the coming months. Watch this space for more news!

One of the ways in which we will be changing is to introduce ‘Corporate Talks’ where a larger local company – is invited to share their experience of ‘What’s is like for us …’. These meetings will still be at the same time and day ie on the last Thursday of the month from 7-9am, but will be in a different location, larger, different or possibly just a bit quirky! Our first Corporate Talks is planned for 26th April in the Grand Dining Hall, at Warwick Castle. The usual fee of £15 will apply and to book please go to our website as usual – our guest speaker will be from a Warwick-based technology company.
